Inhibitions

Inhibitions.

My, don't we all hate those dreadful things? Those fears and insecurities that hold us back from chasing our dreams? Everyone suffers from these at one point or another, but people have to learn to go out of their comfort zones and try new things at times. And they have to learn to do this fast.

Wouldn't it be dreadful if there was something you had been trying to grasp for ages, and when you're nearly there, something inside you causes you to hesitate, allowing the said object to narrowly slide off the tips of your fingers? Well, let me give you a piece of advice:

Never give up what you want in the long run for something you want in the present.

Although keeping to yourself in your hollow, closed shell may seem comforting at first, it won't help you to achieve your goals. Throw away that nice umbrella. It's time for you to release your inhibitions; to feel the rain on your skin.

The Peacock and the Pigeon

Did that catch your attention? I wouldn't blame you; it's a rather aesthetically pleasing sight. The peacock is a beautiful, graceful creature whom many are fascinated by.

Now take a look at this:

A pigeon. It's not nearly as magnificent as the peacock, is it? One would be mad to claim that it is more beautiful - or would they?

While the peacock sits on the ground, the pigeon is in flight, freeing itself of any tension. While the peacock's beauty masks how dull it really is, the pigeon's plain appearance masks how charming it truly is. One bird stands on earth, never achieving its dreams; for what is a bird without wings? The other soars in the sky, finally finding paradise.

Now the choice is yours to make: What is true beauty?

Arrival of the Aristocrats

Why, I seem to be quite the elitist, don't I? Don't fret; I'm not. I'm a normal girl with normal dreams. Scratch that. You see, I don't exactly have any dreams as of now, and it's evident that most people don't during their youthful ages. But I'd love to have a dream - wouldn't everyone?

To be an aristocrat:
The reason I chose to base this blog off of the idea of aristocrats is because I find them to be very motivational. Not like elitists, no, but as powerful people that others look up to. Aristocrats are powerful people at the top of the social hierarchy. But that's literal. Anyone can be an aristocrat - a figurative one.

That being said, this blog will mainly be to help and inspire those in need of, well, inspiration. I myself am in desperate need of motivation to step up and search for my strong points and for my weak points. So why don't you hop on board and join me in a journey I like to call 'Life'?
